Best Female Rock Singers

I could never understand the appeal of Joplin's voice. To my ears that wasn't singing. It was just a horrid noise.
And I always find Christine McVie's voice more haunting than Stevie's. Not a 'rock' voice, though, but it has a nice soothing tone to my ears.

I agree about Joplin. Waste of flesh.

Has any band ever had as much talent in it as Fleetwood Mac? Love them.
