Great pics Moonie! I've only ever been out east once, was in a friend's wedding party when she lived in Oshawa Ontario years ago. Have a friend that is in Keswick too. Either of those close to you? :)

I've never been to Florida, been to the Cali Disneyland a few times though. Besides the Epcot, is there much of a difference, do you know?

Yep! Big difference! They have 4 theme parks. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Studios, and Animal Kingdom. They also have a whole downtown area with shopping, restaurants, clubs, and they have 2 or 3 water parks.

It's MGM Studios you dork!

And yes Deb, that downtown Disney area has Pleasure Island, which has The Untouchables! 8) 8)

I know that people get Idaho and Iowa confused all the time! On the national news on the 4th of July this year-on several networks, they announced that Mitt Romney was celebrating in Iowa-WRONG! He was celebrating in Idaho, in fact in Idaho Falls, at the same parade and fireworks show that I was at!

Okay Dork, I am going by the FUTURE HERE!!! Read this:

Beginning January 2008, Disney-MGM Studios will be renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios™, the Disney Park that celebrates the best Hollywood has to offer in music, television, movies and theater. Take center stage as the star of your own adventure: from rock 'n' roll fantasy to Broadway-style stage spectaculars, from the silver screen to the TV screen to behind the scenes — only at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Tega Cay is nice... I wouldn't say I live here, as I don't like committment... I tend to pick up and move at the drop of a hat, but being able to sit outside at 2am in my shorts & tank in late November = love. Its your typical suburban upscale lake/golf community... look one way and see the lake, look the other and see the skyline. :)

You ever get someone pull this shit... someone says they're from Chicago and you go:

Me: Oh yeah? Me too. What part?
Other Person: Oakbrook.
Me: Um, that's not Chicago. You're from Oakbrook.

(that happened while I was living in another state... I nearly smacked the guy)

Or the reverse... someone asks you that...

Other person: Oh you're from Chicago? What part?
Me: Northwest side.
Other person: OH! You mean you're actually from Chicago?
Me: Isn't that what you just asked me?

(and that one used to happen constantly)

This happens all the time....great examples.

i can relate. i was born & raised IN (not around) downtown san francisco. i see cable cars, coit tower, alcatraz, the bay bridge, union square & the transamerica pyramid every single day.

Thank you Rick. I've never been to the Field of Dreams but since it's one of my favorite movies I've always wanted to go. The trouble has always been that my family still in Iowa lives in the southwest part of the state and the field is in the northeast part. Vacations back home have never allowed time for a diversion that far from family or interstate.

I am in the City all the time, been to Alcatraz so many times......but never at night. I want to take a night tour. That city is absolutely beautiful at least on the bay. I go so much, I bought a Fastrak pass. I feel honored.  Pics please Cyndy.

Cool, I didn't know that? :)

But you forgot a pic of Lombard Street (Crookedest street). I can't tell you how many times us kids made Dad drive down that street when we were on vacation there. Gawd we were soooo the Griswalds, station wagon and all.
