It would be contrary to his character NOT to share the intimate details of his time with Journey.
Just being considered by the band is the ultimate validation of his dedication to his craft.
Who here wouldn't tell another living soul that they had just been offered the job of a lifetime?

It has occurred to you that Jeff Soto is culpable for the very crime you now relentlessly accuse Jeremey of, correct?

The day Jeff was tapped to be in the band he had to KNOW Augeri was outta there for good.
Still, he toed the official Azoff PR line of "Steve's condition will be closely monitored by his physician to determine when he may be able to rejoin the tour."

Jeff perpetuated this charade, and even ratcheted the level of obfuscatory bullshit up quite a few degrees, when he went so far as to personally wish Augeri a speedy recovery on his official website, stating:

“I must start with my heart goes out to my dear friend, Steve Augeri….I pray that Steve's condition is not too severe & with the proper down time, he will come back stronger than ever!!”

Utter and complete BS. I was informed by “someone in the know” before the press release came out that Augeri would NEVER come back to Journey EVER AGAIN.
Make no mistake, Jeff had to know he was stabbing a "friend" in the back and putting a good man out of his job when he was approached by the band and accepted.

Frankly, I don’t blame Jeff or Jeremey, in either case. This is simply how business works.

if jeremey had replaced jeff, because jeff was lipping or had major throat problems, then you could compare them as a side by side crime.
Jeff's voice was fine and he was bringing the energy the band had needed. How can you be so fucking dumb and even compare it that way.

Also, I dont recall Jeff jamming with Augeri at a party right before Augeri was canned.

I never put the blame on Jeremey regarding the backstabbing.
