Bah...Who cares? People vote for candidates for all kinds of stupid reasons. Some people will vote for Obama because he's black, Hillary because she's a woman, and dumbest of all, against McCain simply because he's a Republican like Bush. What the hell ever happened to voting for a candidate because they closely represent your views?

The problem is, McKinley was the last President who best represented my value system.

Fair enuff. It was meant to be funny, not to offend.
I would vote for Obama before Hillary - I even like him. Just not his policies.

CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA
Mon Feb 25 2008 06:51:00 ET

With a week to go until the Texas and Ohio primaries, stressed Clinton staffers circulated a photo over the weekend of a "dressed" Barack Obama.

The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat frontrunner fitted as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya.

The senator was on a five-country tour of Africa.

"Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC?" questioned one campaign staffer, in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe on the circulation of the Obama/Somali photo: "On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we've seen from either party in this election. This is part of a disturbing pattern that led her county chairs to resign in Iowa, her campaign chairman to resign in New Hampshire, and it's exactly the kind of divisive politics that turns away Americans of all parties and diminishes respect for America in the world."

Developing...

I guess I don't get how this is supposed to help Hillary. Yes, he looks funny, but so what? How does this damage him?

Farrakhan hails Obama as 'hope of entire world' (Racist endorses Obama)
MSNBC ^ | 2/25/2008 | ap

CHICAGO - In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

The 74-year-old Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

It should be, but I don't think people who are caught up in Obamamania will care.

My dad told me he heard (I didn't ask where) that the Republicans are sitting on some damaging info concerning Obama that they'll release right at the last minute.

Yeah...Hillary is getting quite desperate, and it's becoming more obvious with each passing day. I'm sure the negative attacks against Obama will keep coming from her camp! I've always loathed that woman! Thank god she'll be out of it, soon enough! She can go back to being Bill's Bitch!

I dunno, this photo won't look good for Obama if he goes against McCain, especially if we get attacked by muslim extremists again before the general election.

Hillary is surely banking on it working for her. Im sure she will LIE and deny having anything to do with this photo, but the damage is already done.

Us "evil Rebublicans" have been trying to tell you Dems that the Clintons will do ANYTHING to win and retain POWER. They will cry, lie, set other people up to look like liars when they actually are the liars (Monica Lewinsky).

I believe both Obama and Hillary's defense policies (or lack thereof) are going to get a lot more US civilian men, women and children killed, but at least Obama seems honest and he is likeable. He's just wrong on national defense.

The Clinton's are proving to everyone that they are low-life, power hungry trash.

[sarcasm]Yeah, but you know that the evil Republicans are far, far worse than the Democrats. At least Democratic policies will be helpful to the people, even if they are somewhat corrupt.[/sarcasm]

The Dem policies are indeed VERY helpful to people.
Especially people like Bin-Laden, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

You know, if a conservative person, campaign, organization, etc., had release this photo in this way, it would be front page news how racist they were and how shameful they are. The libs on this board would be thinking the same thing, yet when a Dem does this, it's somehow almost excusable or, at the very least, it's dirty and underhanded but not as bad as what those evil conservatives are up to.
