Difference is before & during Journey, I used to like coming onto boards, interacting, informing, etc., with folks. Good or bad, it separated me from SP or SA, I enjoyed it so I did it. Having comments, criticism, disagreements is part of the game but it's not one sided. If I can't voice my opinion on someone who has no problem doing so about me on a public board then sue me for not living up to your standards. I honestly think, no make that, I know throwing darts back at someone who does it to me on a regular basis on a little forum is not going to affect my career in the slightest...especially to someone who continuously calls me a nobody....hey, I'm his equal then according to him!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, this is a forum for discussion after all. We don't have to agree one way or the other and perhaps we can all gain a little from the experience along the way. Whilst I have no real views on the matter at hand it seems to me that Jeff's second post served to educate those who might not understand why he chose to respond in the way he did, perhaps in the hope that some people might be a little more understanding.

With all due respect any aimless posts simply bashing those whom we might not agree with serve no real purpose and would seem to do more harm than good.

If you think its right for any musician to come on message boards because someone has a dig, then so fuckin be it. I think its fuckin wrong for a well known and i may say extremely talented artist such as Mr Soto, whom i have paid good money to see on more than 10 fuckin occasions over the years in Europe with different bands etc, to come on message boards such as this one and post what he has.

why it is not out of the ordinary for Jeff to pop in and post, whether
it be to join in on the fun or to defend himself...

Jeff has been coming in here for a few years now, interacting
with the fans, listening to ideas, requests while he was with the
band, keeping us informed on things...
Not only that, Jeff went out of his way for members on this forum
while he was in the band, getting folks Meet&Greet passes,
letting a few lucky fans in on soundchecks, hanging out at after-show
get togethers... He let himself be accessible like no other artist in his position
I know ever has.

Now, a lot of these SAME people that Jeff reached out to and catered to
are doing a complete double-take and talking a bit too much shit now that
they are memebers of the Arnel Pineda Pinata Army.

Wouldn't YOU feel a bit betrayed or stabbed in the back???

Sure, getting defensive with "Nameless & Faceless" minions
on a fan forum get's guys in Jeff's position no where.

But when you KNOW these people and have interacted with these
same people away from this forum, in person and have formed
somewhat of a relationship with them, the rules change no matter
