Nope, not Tom Hanks unfortunately. I know it sounds like a script, but really, that's how I wanted this thing to play out...like a cliched love story. Can't say the same for my previous experiences in life, though.

I just hope that in the end, Turn Down the World Tonight will be a song I (we?) can look back on with fondness, not sadness.

I enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing man.

I've had many moments in my life that have played out like a Journey song, and I'm a dude that's very in touch with his sensitive side, so I can relate to and appreciate what you wrote here.

Props, and don't stop believin'.  8)

Lovely story dude

My story was pretty similar but unlike you my wife to be wasn't sleeping at the time and we were in the back seats. Track two from Prodigy's CD came on...Breathe. Kinda reminded me to take a break from between the legs and get some air, it's not that romantic but it was one hell of a night

Next CD on was FGTH, relax...what a night that was indeed

I guess maybe the Gods are shining upon me. I talked to Bri (the girl I've been talking about) this morning, and we talked about how much we are looking toward the Journey show, yet I still didn't have tickets. I've been checking Ticketbastard every day, but all of the decent seats have been sold out for 2 months. I was afraid I was going to have to pay out the wazoo from a scalper, but low and behold, I checked Ticketbastard after I got off the phone and 12th row dead center seats were open. Score!!! Journey....we'll be seeing you in Dallas in a few weeks!!!
