You better sit down before I tell you this because you won't believe it. I like Soto's version of Crazy better too.

Tito and I both said that when we saw Soul Sirkus. That version is great.

Not just saying this because Rip is a homeboy, but go find Dokken's "From The Beginning" on the Dysfunctional album. I prefer it to ELP's. It could be one of Dokken's best songs ever.

Hall & Oates cover of "I'll Be Around" might just eclipse The Spinners too.

Not too keen on that one. Although classy it reminds me too much of Darius Danesh covering Britney's 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' from the British Pop Idol TV show in 2000. Can't find a video but believe when I say it was...interesting!

No Way. Vince Neil couldn't sing his way out of a paper back. SITBR, I'll give that one to you, but nobody has outdone McCartney's vocal on Helter Skelter.

LOVE this one- good choice!
I also prefer CHEAP TRICK'S DAYTRIPPER to the original.
And, blasphemous though it may be, I prefer Sammy Hagar's take on PIECE OF MY HEART to the original by Joplin.

But of course THIS is the greatest cover ever AND the greatest video as well!

On the topic of Rufus, his version of "Across the Universe" is 1,000 times better than John Lennon's.

Keane's a great band. Awesome singer. Ever heard their version Satchmo's "What a Wonderful World"? Great stuff.
I just heard Keane's new song today on their myspace page. Wish I could say I liked it. I don't have this song, where'd you get this?

I prefer the Beatles "Daytripper" but I like Cheap Trick's. I also liked their version of "Magical Mystery Tour".

My top pick-

Disturbed's cover of "Land of Confusion" by Genesis.

I listen to the Disturbed version near-daily now and rarely fire up the Genesis track on its own.

Which is weird, considering I think of myself as a Genesis fan!
