WOW!! Now THAT is a liberal-driven website.

I'll say it again. The key reason that Obama will win this election has nothing to do with the issues. It doesn't even have anything to do with Obama versus McCain. It's because the liberals have more media firepower and, they are simply angrier and meaner than the conservatives.

Get real.
MSNBC just raised eyebrows by adding a liberal, Rachel Maddow, to their ranks.
Meanwhile, a vertically integrated industry of right wing cable blowhards has flourished (O'Reilly, Cavuto, Hannity, Beck etc)
The left is just beggining to play catch-up.

The AM radio landscape is Rwandan genocidal hate speech thinly masked as infotainment.
Michael Reagan jr. was on the air the other month talking about shoving bombs into babies.
Don't get much angrier than that.

Well, the fact that there is only one reported death from the storm so far is what comes to mind to ME, not the fucking price of gas. That symbolizes the (not traditional conservative) neo-Reputlican party perfectly - something is happening...how does it affect ME and MY MONEY...not HOW CAN WE HELP PEOPLE who may be in need. So typical.

If the Democrats had done that, you would have accused them of trying to steal votes or being politically correct. But since your party is doing it, you worship them as heroes. I would expect no less from either party, regardless of what the date on the calendar was.

With oil going down on THE DAY of a Hurricane in the Gulf it can only mean one thing. Bush, Cheney and Rove are setting us up for $2.50 gasoline come election day.

I can't wait to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth should that occour. Big oil in cahoots with McCain.

I think the whole nation just let out a huge sigh of relief. Sadly, there was 1 casualty, but that's a miraculous number compared to last time. And evidently there are no damaged oil refineries, which everyone was holding their breath for as well. All good news so far. I read where the levees seem to be holding.

You know what, 7? You actually bring up a good point. I wouldn't put it past the ole elephants to keep the oil high til around election time, only to start lowering it to get a political edge....

Wow. I just finished the mixing some stuff for one of my students' auditions, and I realized what an asshole I've been on this forum the past couple of days. Not wrong, necessarily, but wow...

The past couple of days have been a great example of how "Experience Is the Best Teacher." For all concerned, the people and the goverment, learned and acted from past experience.

I was hoping you would come around! LOL! Sometimes we latch on to something we feel strong about like a pit bull! We can all be guilty of getting too caught up and forget we are speeking to friends. We can all agree to disagree, and still laugh about it afterwards. I think it is best!

Well, I appreciate the support and I do apologize. I would have ALL your backs if anything was on the line, although I'd probably stick a "Kick Me - I'm a Bush Lover" sticker on your back when you weren't looking.

Just like the too-soon-departed Milli Vanlli, I'm going to blame my asininity on the rain. Or just the fact that I'm quite often a dick.
