You do realize that the military put that banner up and that Bush knew nothing about it. And that war, all things considered, has gone remarkably well. Hussein is gone, schools are being built, women are no longer being raped whenever his sons get horny, and democracy is in its infant stages. The world really dropped the ball letting that shit go on for so long. He killed almost a million people.

Schools are being rebuilt. Slowly. And many of them are no longer secular, because the money to rebuild them is coming from religious fundamentalists.
Women are now being raped, disfigured and murdered in retribution for not wearing the hijab/khimar in public. And their menfolk are being shot for allowing it. In what used to be a secular country where women were free to wear what they liked, unmolested, and worked in every field and industry.

Iraqis are just as badly off now as they were under Hussein, just in a whole different way.
