What is a Facebook page going to do for you that can not already be done in this forum?

What is a Facebook page going to do for Andrew, assume he admins it, that he doesn't already do here? To me, it sounds like it is going to double his forum watching work...

seriously, its not a forum...it's simply a place for MR people to 'lookup' other MR people on facebook....and more so to interact on the far less musical context that facebook provides. Really, It shouldn't provide/create any additional work for anyone....just a place to find people on facebook from here.

Can it be done here? Can someone setup a thread and go "who are you on facebook?" Sure, but why bother when facebook already has a feature for it.
