See this what gets me...you don't actually listen or read you libs just parrot what you hear on MSNBC and the truth be damned.
I am not a Limbaugh, Beck or Hannity fan...so kindly don't paint me with that brush...but I do read and listen when issues come up...like the Limbaugh comments about wanting Obama's socialist policies to fail.
He doesn't want Obama to fail...he wants him succede, but he doesn't want him enacting socialist policies that will forever change this country from what it has historically been.
BIG difference there.

Sounds to me like he wants Obama to fail.

Again, if he's soooo darned awful, then why pay him any attention? Ignore him...his ratings will drop, his show will get cancelled, and he will go away. But since the devaluing left won't let him go, he lives on.

"I got a request here from a major American print publication. 'Dear Rush: For the Obama [Immaculate] Inauguration we are asking a handful of very prominent politicians, statesmen, scholars, businessmen, commentators, and economists to write 400 words on their hope for the Obama presidency. We would love to include you. If you could send us 400 words on your hope for the Obama presidency, we need it by Monday night, that would be ideal.' Now, we're caught in this trap again. The premise is, what is your 'hope.' My hope, and please understand me when I say this. I disagree fervently with the people on our side of the aisle who have caved and who say, 'Well, I hope he succeeds. We've got to give him a chance.' Why? They didn't give Bush a chance in 2000. Before he was inaugurated the search-and-destroy mission had begun. I'm not talking about search-and-destroy, but I've been listening to Barack Obama for a year-and-a-half. I know what his politics are. I know what his plans are, as he has stated them. I don't want them to succeed.
If I wanted Obama to succeed, I'd be happy the Republicans have laid down. And I would be encouraging Republicans to lay down and support him. Look, what he's talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don't want this to work. So I'm thinking of replying to the guy, 'Okay, I'll send you a response, but I don't need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.' (interruption) What are you laughing at? See, here's the point. Everybody thinks it's outrageous to say. Look, even my staff, "Oh, you can't do that." Why not? Why is it any different, what's new, what is unfair about my saying I hope liberalism fails? Liberalism is our problem. Liberalism is what's gotten us dangerously close to the precipice here. Why do I want more of it? I don't care what the Drive-By story is. I would be honored if the Drive-By Media headlined me all day long: "Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails." Somebody's gotta say it.

To me that shows Dumbaugh's true colors. I can fathom how others are too duped to see through it. He does not care about this country at all. He said that he wants our leader to fail.
As much as I despised George Bush, I never once wished failure upon him. To wish failure upon our Commander In Chief would mean the deaths of our soldiers and the failure of our country. Unfortunately Dumbya failed more than enough on his own without help from anyone else.

Nationalizing banks seems to me to be a very good idea right know. Very little government control in the financial sector is part of the reason we're in this mess now. It's obvious they can't govern themselves responsibly anymore so let the government control them for a few years until the economy gets back on track. They also need to restructure the financial sector so it is more answerable to the people. All we can do right now is sit and watch our savings dwindle.

In the Orwellian tradition of Bush, you are guilty of the very thing thing you accuse Ebake of.
Likewise, your broadside against MSNBC is also unsubstantiated bullshit based only on what you've been told.

And your problem is? So what, he wants to institute liberal policy? Guess what, he isn't a Neo-Con, a Con or even a moderate. He is a little left. Deal with it. He won, and won big, by 197 electoral college votes. That's a fucking landslide. You righties better hope he fails, or you will never have a reason to visit a polling place again. I love this shit. In fact, I have a mile wide grin on my face. MLK had a dream. His dream was equality and race unity. JFK had his dreams, like space and world peace. My dream is better than those. My dream is that the GOP and conservatism is pulverized and sent to the bottom of the deepest ocean. So far so good. Off to a great great start.

Don't get too excited big Dean, just the natural cycle of American politics. There was a time when people declared Democrats dead too. Several times, in fact. Enjoy it now.

TNC, do you even read your own posts? Obama is the "creator" of these liberal policies he's authoring. I highlighted it in red above for you. It's right there in the next breath after "I hope he fails!" RVR's got it right the only one trying to pull a "post facto spin job" is you. What do think Rush wants Obama to fail at? Do you think he's rooting for Obama to lose his pickup basketball games for the rest of his term? You think he wants him to fail hosting the upcoming Easter egg roll on the White House lawn?
