That's kind of what I wondered too. And she is so vulnerable now, it would be easy to persuade her. I just don't trust Ryan O'neal. I saw Tatum interviewed once, and I realize her and her dad are not on speaking terms,but she said some things that if they are true, do not make him the nice sweet person he pretends he is. She thinks that he got Farrah into substance abuse and that he was very bad for her. I think it wasn't long after Farrah had been on the Letterman show, acting high. She felt it was all her father's infuence on Farrah. And all of his kids speak badly of him, so that should tell a story right there. I HOPE he is sincere, but I have my doubts.

I'm sure she's already handled her will and left him everything a long time ago. They probably just want to be married to honor eachother on her way out. I've heard of several people doing this on deaths door.

I'm sure her will has been in place for a long time, which probably is some sort of trust for her only child. I'm sure Ryan was in the will anyway and her father. She has no close relatives (her sister passed away), except her father, who is very elderly and not in great health. Her son is a drug addict, but he is the father so whatever is made off of her estate or name later would still be passed down to their son when he dies. They lived together for probably 20 years and beside a brief breakup for a year or more have always been in each other's lives and loved each other as spouses would, so really who better to handle any future earnings off her likeness or whatever. Her son doesn't need all that money. He would destroy himself with drugs.

Tatum isn't all together herself. Who would think that John McEnroe would be the good guy in that relationship?

No, she's not, but there are reasons for that too. Her relationship with her father has been strained her whole life. I think the whole bunch of them have a lot of problems.
