I think if you found something you really wanted to use, you could work out a deal with the artist. The artists on this site seem to be pretty reasonable.

Jim, if you go directly to www.deviantart.com and run your search. I used frozen heart. When you find a picture you like, for example, the one I posted recently, just click on the title of the art and it should take you to the artist's site. From there, scroll down the left side and click on the artist's profile. The artist of the picture I posted is ghoner. Under his Journal he has a link for commissions and another called About Snaching My Stuff. The guy's e-mail is listed there. For other artists, their e-mail address is listed in their profile under Devious Info. Hope that helps.

It's funny you said that, because I just sent it to Alex and told him the same thing. I don't think this image is usable though, because it seems out of focus, and not quite as intricately detailed as I would like. I'm sure we could use this same type of image though, and do something cool with it! :wink:

Like I said, I don't think we can use this exact image. It just seems blury and out of focus to me. I would probably change the tone of the colors used too.

It seems that this concept is a good compromise between your original icy heart and Alex's idea of an anatomical heart. I agree that the picture is fuzzy and lacking detail. It should give you a good starting point though if you and Alex can agree on the basic concept. Hopefully your artist can pull all the details together for you if you decide to go with it.

This latest one is a million times better than the anatomical heart, Jim. Most women (with the exception of our lovely Carla) are not going to like the anatomical heart image.

This latest image will appeal to both sexes. Although, it does remind me of another well known album cover & kinda creates a subliminal connection: Image

Btw Jim, on the pic that I suggested. You can superimpose that image on a guitar, the mouth should be exactly where the guitar hole is. Just a thought. :D
