What is it with the freakin' shoes, already???![]()
I've had more discussions revolving around shoes over the last week than I care to admit!
Saturday night alone was at least a half dozen separate discussions and one of these people is the biggest shoe-lovin' offender!

Debbie
Who's seems to be suffering from a bit of shoe envy, I suppose...
Geez, Debbie, that's like asking some of the guys around here what the deal is with beer and televised sports.![]()
Journey to the Cure Sparkle Tie Ball II will be guaranteed night to remember -- great cause, terrific music, wonderful people, and a lots and lots of fabulous shoes!

Way back around 2000 I was motormaster. More recently I was JRNY2IL. I posted on a regular basis back when the water cooler was there. Not so much these days. My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2004. She's fine now, but the year we were dealing with chemo and radiation I kinda just withdrew from the whole internet forum scene.

Doesn't ring any bells, but I just rediscovered Journey a few years ago. Looking forward to meeting you and your family. Less than 2 weeks now ... woo hoo!

DrFU wrote:Okay ... my bid for Friday night ... I propose we meet up in the bar at the Doubletree and head on over later to John Barleycorn (what a name for a bar!) to see 7th Heaven. I've never seen then live, and I'd really like to. Plus, its close for us hotel dwellers.

Done. No more votes required. While I'm still undecided about the JTTC event I will certainly be at the Doubletree and the 7th Heaven show.

A gaggle of your favorite gals in party frocks, open bar, excellent food, live music, tax deduction for a super cause, in your hometown ... what the hell is there to decide?
