Kelty is good alright. I do think he strains a bit more than Pineda, but then again, maybe he IS trying to sound like Espee?

More importantly, is that the original Journey music kelty is singing to? Sure as shit sounds like Schon on Faithfully.

That Escape band sounds fantastic,the guitarplayer nailed that solo on "Faithfully".
A lot of singers wish they sound like Perry but than again if they do they wouldn`t get a price for originality.
A singer hired by Journey probably is in a constant state of ambivalent conflicts because he has to sound like Perry and if he does he is a "fucking copycat" and if he doesn`t he isn`t "up to par" and not suitable to be a Journey singer.
Pineda and Journey did Oprah maybe next time they visit the DR Phil show.

Might as well, since that's where all the other dysfunctional families go. Perry needs to go with them and maybe Dr. Phil can help Perry reveal why he never really felt like a part of the band.

Should be an interesting show ..Neal and Perry in tears hugging each other while Pineda is singing "After All These Years".

Perry has long been mocked for those ridiculous, self-absorbing digs. He single-handedly gave Journey the "chick band" stigma. The guy just never gave off any vibe of masculinity.

But Jon Cain looked every bit the Brawny Paper Towel Dude, dressed in a bumble bee t-shirt playing behind a candy apple red piano. Yeah, that just yelled out "masculinity" to the audience. Don't forget Schon with that ridiculous lid he wore...I believe he 5 fingered it from Perry's Street Talk costume trunk.

Oh, and least I forget, Ross Valory, that verey average white bass player, performing live on stage in front of 15,000 folks, in Mr Goodwrench overall's.

All these goofy fuckers gave off gay overtones except Smith, who was hidden behind the kit, and even he wore wristbands for Christs' sake! Who does he think he is, Dusty Baker?
