Well, in the end I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to hear the new music early and redo Vegas in better style than I did in '08. Ticket purchased and flight booked. I know at least 5 others who are definites, so it's looking to be a great time.

Oh, crap... Hmm... Well, Reno NV Has been added too, on 2/25. A Friday.

I just heard the radio promo on this yesterday....same commercial spot they used from the previous tour...announcer/voiceover clips of Arnel singing AWYWI, DSB, etc....sounding very much like the original (record) versions.

Kind of surprised me hearing they're coming here again so early in the year. Reno must be a good draw since they manage to include this town every tour. Since I've been following Journey (2005), I recall SA-JSS-AP(twice?) have played up here... summer Saturday dates come to mind.

As for inclement weather....hard to predict this time of the year....might be rough if someone were intending a road trip through snowfalled mountains...plane flight shouldn't be a problem.

I'm seriously thinking about...but I can't commit just yet. Have to rearrange my schedule at work and see how the flights look. I'll probably know about a week before the show...hope it doesn't sell out!

I'm assuming they won't be playing much from the new CD, since it supposedly won't be released until late spring. OR...is it possible they'll be shooting another DVD?

I have toyed with the idea, but honestly, I feel they will be under-practiced and AP will still have a burning face from re-entering the USA atmosphere without heat tiles.

Don't seem to see Steve Perry's name in that write-up anywhere. They really seem to go out of their way to avoid mentioning Perry's name as to give the opinion that it is Arnel singing on the Greatest Hits, huh.. That line-up pictured there surely not the one that sold 75 million records and most definitely not the singer pictured there.

Neal has come a long ways from giving Perry that big hug at Walk-of-Fame when trying to coerce him into going on the road with them. Perry sure called that one right back then.
