Good description...I'm digging all of the songs except "Chain of Love" so far. Love the guitar melody change-ups in "Rise Up."

"Edge Of The Moment" is the only one who has to grow on me,it has a more gloomy dark feeling to it than the other songs and doesn`t have a chorus which is as outspoken and direct as the other songs.
But regarding the conceptual idea probably this song will fit in nicely,we will hear it when "Eclipse"is out.

So far Resonate, Chain of love and City of Hope are my faves...still, I haven't listened to the other two songs as much.
I hear there are much stronger songs that we have not heard. This CD may be the one I have been waiting for from Journey since Frontiers.

I think Edge of the Moment, after getting a bit better sound off Fabbest's video, is going to be one of my favorites off the album. I'm intrigued by the song. I like the darker feeling to it.

Here here!

This is a great time for Journey to try some new angles. Rock?! Concept?! Sounds great to me! :D

What do they have to lose?! The radio's been ignoring them for years anyway! Why pander to them?

Jana wrote:I am loving Chain of Love. This is the song I hear that vibe they were talking about early on in describing the music. Middle-Eastern, Hindu vibe. I can't remember how they described it. I'm probably not using the right descriptive terms. But you really hear it in Neal's guitar at times and you hear it in the way Arnel delivers certain lyrics vocally.

I thought the same about Chain of Love!

And if that's what they mean about Hindu themes, GIMME MORE!!! :D

Knowing me,it would be quite possible that when this album is out and all the songs have had a good spin this song turns out to be the sleeper! 8)
