Mops.. and broken beer bottles... and guy on guy boob grabs... and singing to a blaring boom box, the same song OVER AND OVER and OVER.... more I probably forgot.. and STILL not getting kicked out of a hotel! What patience they had at that Holiday Inn!

Funny story ... I was with a co-worker about 4-5 months ago and we were going to visit a few suppliers in Ohio. We spent 2 nights at a hotel that I thought looked awfully familiar. I asked how far the Blossom Music Center was and it seemed about the 10 or so miles away that we were. It was the hotel we stayed at, no doubt. But I did notice that the bar was closed down. My guess is that one weekend of all of us was something they just couldn't chance happening ever again.  I didn't notice it the first time, but that hotel has a great pool, hot tub and indoor water slide! :)

That's so funny! And I didn't even see a pool, let alone a water slide! That's too bad about the bar! It was the perfect set up for us!! It's hard to find a hotel that has a bar open late when you venue is in the middle of cow town!! I'm pretty sure we found it thanks to Stu if I remember right!

Yup Yup...Used to be a Holiday Inn...I partied there many a night back in my single days...now it's a different hotel brand.

Okie Dokie...I could give my review of the show...but I won't...I enjoyed myself, my wife and daughter enjoyed themselves...got to sit behind the drum riser and catch part of the show with my daughter which was very cool. All that being said, it was not the best Journey show muscially I have ever heard. I talked with the audio guys prior to the show and they said Blossom is a VERY hard venue to get the sound right in, is that an excuse, no just what I was told. Still I can only point out the majority of the crowd didn't care...they were have a great time...the view up to the lawn during Lights was off the hook it was like looking into the sky away from the city where the stars are all blazing away...the people around me were up dancing and singing for all the songs...even the new ones. Last nights show in Cincy was much better sounding from what I heard via the streaming.

They are due a break soon and they need it, the band and the crew are really wiped out right now. That 5 day run, with 1 day off was brutal.
