You are such a bad winner. Cool out.
The guy did awesome considering he hadn't played since April 11th until Hobby fell out injured last week.

I already gave him props in an earlier post. Did you just tell me to "cool out"????

Much nicer than the "F" phrase she could have used

Nah, I wouldn't be that hostile to a fellow poster over a sport.
Though if any occasion called for the use of F, it was certainly the end of tonight's game.

And for a team as omnipotent as you make the Wings out to be, you sure had a hard time wrapping up this series. Shit, you got 2 goals on our second stringer with one of our other star players out, too!

...See, this door swings both ways.

You do realize your "second stringer" was signed this past offseason to replace your 1st stringer, right?

How come why for bluejeangirl?

So Crosby touched it eh?......Image....happy I is that Henrik didn't.

Chicago played great last night and Cristobal should be commended!
My stomach was in my throat going into overtime and I'm sure the Hockey God's
went deaf from all my screaming prayers.

What a great game that was!, I'm so very happy Detroit won the series.
Congrats Wings!, now lets get down to Lord Stanley's way.

Yes he has...This series is going to be much different than the one last year.

I was rooting for the Pens to win last year, but was realistic about their chances to win, which were slim.

This year is much different...I wouldn't be betting a ton of money on the Red Wings to win this one.

It's gonna be a rough one for sure, but this time I think the Pens take it. They are just plain playing better than last year, and I don't think the Red Wings are as good as they were last year.

I said it since the beginning, without the Flower we don't win the series against Washington, let alone Philly. Lucky for us, our Power Play stepped up, and with our Power Play kill better than ever, I think we are the better squad over Detroit. That means dick shit though. Detroit is the defending Champs, are back in it to defend, and beat US to get that opportunity. This is going to be one for the ages, but I'm 1000% more confident than I was last year and I'm saying the Pens win it all this time around.

So you think Bill Guerrin is a better hockey player than Marian Hossa?
And you think Dallas Drake is also better than Hossa? Drake's the only player the Wings lost since last year.
Keep an eye on Jonathan Ericcson and Darren Helm (game winner last night)
The Wings are better than last year. (assuming they get Lidstrom and Pavel back)
One thing to look for is terribly slanted officiating favoring the Penguins. Bettman wants nothing more than his butt-buddy Crosby lifting the cup. I think YoungJRNY's av is a poster that's hanging on Bettman's bedroom wall.

No it wasn't. I just doubt that in the span of 12 months. Fleury's gone from a very good junior league goalie to a world class goalie. The Wings will be facing the same goalie they faced last year. Just like the Penguins will. Only this year, Hossa will be grinding and firing at your guy.

What I said has nothing to do with cheering. Why would I expect a Red wings fan to cheer for the Penguins goalie :P His comment was sarcastic and ALL I said was I was HAPPY the Penguins are being underestimated! Those considered the "underdogs" have a way of winning in many sports on occassion and this just might be the one :P
