Relax Stuart.

So you are buds with Ross. Whoopdishit.

You are waiting for a word about Steve Augeri? From who, the Band? You have got to be kidding? They lie more than Nixon, Bush and Shrub combined.

Christ, I am waiting for word from Saddam to say they had WMD, or Jong Kim that he isn't developing weapons either

I don't want them to stop, Hell no. I want them to be a fucking band again, some touring Carnival act. Playing on a 10 by 20 foot stage...Hell, Deen drum kit overhangs the fucking stage it is so small..And opening for an inferior band is nuts. They signed on for this knowing their singer was shit. Perhaps with Jeff, they would be alternating..I gurantee you if jeff is the guy, they are not an opening band for anyone.....especially some chain smoking Euros who have a song called, "Make Love like a Man." WTF is that? Def Lippard should open for REO, Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton, Adam Ant, and Bo Bice.

Your assesment about Perry, I used to agree with...Not anylonger. I wager the guy puts out an album late this year or next Spring.

So waht, I am bitter, going to be like Pit and have me put in jail for that? Fuck yes I am bitter.

Maybe they thought no one would notice because Def Leppard's singer sounds like that also.

It has nothing to do with my friendship with Ross. If you would take time to read I never said he wouldn't put out an album, I said he would NEVER tour with Journey again.

I haven't seen DL yet this tour...to much to do after Journey gets done...but I did hear them a bit...not to bad...but Journey with Jeff blows them away!

I'm with you on that, Joe E. pretty well sucks these days and does not have what he once had. In Indy there was a shit load of taped backing vocals on the high side covering his sorry ass. As Deano would say, Fuck you Joe!

Dude,

I have seen both bands just last weekend and I can assure you, Def Leppard did blow Journey away with JSS on lead. And this is coming from a huge Journey fan. If Dean would step out from behind the drum kit they might have a chance. To be honest, Queen's "We Are The Champions" was played on the sound system between sets and it drew almost as much crowd reaction as Journey. Its sad but true dude. Go see them and let me know what you think.

Ahhhhh...I saw them too...I have no interest in DL...and from the sounds I heard coming out of the sound system Journey crushed DL at BOTH shows. Of course that is just my opinion.

The article refers to a 'Dean,' would that be our very own rock'n'deano?
If so I'm disappointed they didn't print a picture of his avatar.

Joe Paterno is universally known as Joe Pa. That's what is refers to. And it is today's vernacular.
