From now on, whenever I see him and Blair on telly, I shall imagine them both as monkeys in blue and red matching suits & hats.

Isn't that the head flying monkey from Wizard Of Oz? GWB must be related, if so, that explains alot.

Something like that, anyway. :?

At least he's not the moron who was getting head from a fat intern instead of electing to kill Bin Laden the EIGHT fuckin' times our military had him in its crosshairs. But hell, what did he do while Clinton was in the White House? Bombed our embassy to shit, bombed the USS COLE, tried to blow up The World Trade Center and dragged our slain soldiers throughout the streets of Mogadishu, Somalia. Generals begged that hillbilly to let them go clean out the trash we NOW have to put up with and he said "it might affect the econmy." What an unpatriotic pussy. Several Generals have said it was hard to salute him after he refused to retaliate for ANY of the above incidents mentioned. Not ONCE did he respond with military force. Why even have one?

That sure is ONE thing I like about ol GW...
He lets me and thousands of others go out an do our fucking jobs :)

Imagine being a lawyer, but never getting a real case, you just doing mock-trial after mock-trial for years and years...
That's what life in the military with Clinton was like.

You both have no clue do you?

Go to college and learn.

Anyone can drop bombs.

Aside from your unfactual criticism on Clinton, I am proud to say 3,000 Americans didn't die on HIS watch and he was president for 8 years. it only took Dumbass 2 years of not reading security briefings for us to get our asses kicked on our own soil. And you are proud of him because he goes over to a country that HAD NOTHING TO DO with 9/11, and lose more lives? Nice.

Bad math and skewed facts....again. Bush was inaugurated in late January of 2001. The plans for 9/11 were already complete. They took several years to concoct. So who would you say ignored security briefings?

I thought Clinton was a great Pres. But as much as I really hate Bush, you have to admit that no Pres has ever had to go through what he did at the start of a Presidency... 9/11 changed the world forever. By the end of that day, who did or didn't do what was irrelevant. We needed to do something to make sure it never happened again. As for Iraq, they've had this shit coming for years. You're right, probably no direct link to 9/11 but Iraq is a terrorist state and some measure of control was/is needed. And of course Oil is a big part of it all. No shit.
I am not gonna get mad that 3000 soldiers have died already in what most consider a 'useless' war. Like me, they signed up for this job, they weren't drafted. What did they think, that the military was just a big, college campus with parties and fun but everyone wears the same, crummy fatigues?
I'll stop there because I don't want to get blasted. I know Deano and some here know WAY more than me when it comes to politics. those are just my thoughts...

I'll end with this. I blame neither president. They manipulated our freedom with an ingenious plan. They boarded those flights legally. All of their weapons were allowed at the time. Secondly, after they assumed control, passengers remained seated and calm because all hijackings to that point ended with demands being met. There was no need for anyone to try to thwart the hijacking. It wasn't until the passengers aboard the final flight realized what was going on and tried to retake the plane. They hit us hard and have been chirping for 5 years how bigger and greater things are ahead. We moved the front to Iraq, thus ensuring any collateral damage won't be that of our civilians and have had NOT ONE life lost on American soil. While the war isn't perfect, we'll never know what might have happened on OUR soil had we not moved the front elsewhere. I will comment in the "Politics" forum only from now on.

Lost all political credibility? Are you fucking stupid, jealous or high? You just hate the fact that the Republicans are losing BOTH Houses of Congress this year, the War is a mistake, the president is the worst of all time, and in 08, you will lose the White House. Get used to it now, it's gonna be a long wait til you return to power.

Collateral damage from what?

We - the Brits - joined you on the 'new front' in Iraq...and this provoked the London bombings last year...in which FIFTY lives were lost.

The idea that the choas the US/UK have created in Iraq is making the world a safer place is totally ridiculous.

We may not have had any collateral damage, but can you really say with any degree of certainty it's because of Iraq?
If anything, I think it's owed to Bush's illegal surveillance techniques and the overall repeal of civil rights.
I'm all for that, I just think we should be honest enough to recognize their illegality.

First of all, "I'm" not in power...never have been. And I'm not the jackass who was in awe after watching "Loose Change" and thinking our government was behind the attacks. Pure idiocy. And as long as Hillary runs, I have NOTHING to worry about. I'd guess only about 33% of the country is dumb enough to vote for that flip-flopping, Kerry-like ****. She'll have the race hustlers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton backing her...to no avail. How could anyone respect that party with those scumbags in it. Go free Tookie Williams...you probably think he was innocent.

Alot of it seemed implausible, but there is that troubling little matter of tower 7.
Why exactly did it fall?

Who did Iraq terrorize? Well, they terrorized the Iranians in the 1980s and the USA supplied them the weapons. Iraq terrorized Kuwait in 1990...a country in which the USA depends for oil. And the Hussein regime terrorized the Kurds...which the USA didn't give a shit about.

Is there any evidence whatsoever that Iraq has ever terrorized the American mainland?

The 2 party system is all about "Big Money". Neither party is all that different. Politicians are political whores subject to whomever donated the most. The best and the brightest are too smart to run for office, so you get idiots like Bush and conniving scoundrels like Clinton.

Lower my taxes, stay out of my bedroom, don't start foolish wars, stop taking my hard earned cash and redistributing it to the lazy.

Government's only focus should be paving the roads and filling in potholes.
