Yulog, if I have misjudged you, then I apologize. I have to defend myself when under attack by you though and I have tried to stick to the facts as I know them, which are my perceptions. You have also perceived many things of me that are incorrect. I am willing to let you have your say and clear up any misconceptions. I think we have said enough to one another on the board. If you would like to talk about this further, lets do it in pm and clear the air. I'm willing if you are. Lets just keep it off the board, now, OK? Peace! 8)

Reardon, Journeytroll, JoeyDelight. Three sick twisted personalities of one truly assed up individual. A multiple personality disorder stricken prick with nothing better to do than make peoples online experience as miserable as possible. Eat shit Reardon. Get help.

Dean'o I do remember you telling me of Magic Mountain
last year before my trip to Cali and I was looking forward
to it to.
Ended up not having a car though when we were there
and I ran out of money early.
I wish someone from Michigan would chime in here, I was
certain somebody would have heard of Boblo Island.

I do...I've been to the Netherlands, Finland, and Estonia. The only other foreign country I've been to is Canada but, in my book, that doesn't count.

Come on AR...shake off that paranoia and self-pity and give it a go sometime. Sure, I'd avoid the Middle East but most of us Euros won't be horrible to you.

Whats with Americans? Dude, what's with Euros? Why, would any reasonable, logical thinking American want to go to Europe? Smelly place, rude, stinky people, yellow teeth, rancid armpits, etc.

The USA and Canada are the nicest places on Earth. Deal with it.

If I want to go to Europe, I just won't bathe for a week, take a dump and only halfass my wipe, throw out my Old Spice, and disconnect my washer and dryer. Dump my toothpaste and brush into the garbage can(notice I didn't say "rubbish" ), and be rude for an entire week.

THAT is Europe in a nutshell.

I've got one. Janneth and I REALLY want to get back to Colombia to visit our fuckin retarded lookin family...ugh...man, I thought I was back to my old self but I guess I need more time to shake it off.

I would love to travel the world but that would take money and time neither of which I have. The world is a big place. There are moutains to climb and valleys to see - and so many people to meet.

It's a shame that we know of each other primarily via channels like the media which filters through whatever is on the agenda. Do we really know each other or do we merely have perceptions like AR's in that it seems like everyone hates Americans? Are those perceptions true or are they the result of the filtering?

In the little time I've spent in Colombia and from what I gather from Janneth, Colombians don't hate Americans. Neither are they all a bunch of drug traffickers. My in-laws are humble coffee and sugar cane farmers that barely earn enough to survive. While Americans pay big money at Starbucks for a cup my in-laws are paid next to nothing for picking the beans that go into it. They don't complain. It's their way of life and they're content. That's another thing I love about those people. In America we have "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" as our creed. Those words carry different meanings for each generation. "Happiness" today probably means "playing an X-Box 24/7". Back when I was a kid it was, "Happiness is a warm puppy." Anyway, Colombians greet you with, "Contento?" Are you content? Not that you're PURSUING anything but rather, "Are you in a state of contentment?" It's very subtle but rather empowering to BE IN A STATE rather than pursuing one.

I don't know. I've never had a Euro call me and my family - MY CHILDREN - "a bunch of retarded lookin fuckers". Jokingly or not - who is it that you say is rude...?

Takes a real man to call children names.

Love the UK.. had one of absolute BEST vacations ever over there two years ago. Went to the Fringe Festival in Edingburgh, got INSIDE Stonehenge, saw east coast, west coast, London... absolutely brilliant trip and I want to go back. There were only three people that were 'rude' when they discovered I was American. Two elderly gents in Edinburgh who insisted on lambasting Bush, which I fully agreed with them on, and one lady at a petrol station who turned ICY to me the second I opened my mouth. That was not indicative of the trip. I had an absolute fabulous time, and I couldn't recommend it enough.. I want to go back, and Yesterday!

Pretty funny but true. I lived in Italy for a few years and if you didn't get nicely nudged by the guys you were more insulted than if they touched you. It's a compliment for them to make contact.

We hope to take the train trip through Copper Canyon in Mexico in a month or two, if all goes as planned. It's an eight day trip. Anyone been on it?
