Yeah, I had one too many zeros on there, that's why I deleted my post.

Here it was:

Rosie is an idiot. I do think she has a point though, and I also believe it to be childish to pounce on her as non patriotic.

She did correctly claim that the US invasion of Iraq, be that as it is, has in fact killed 65,000 people. You can't tell me all 65,000 people were evil.

Elizabeth called her out on that insinuating that Rosie was calling the troops terrorists is grade A bullshit.

Just a thought.

Oh, and Manorocks, you can keep PM'ng Andrew all you like. I don't really care, but he probably does.

It still begs the question. We aren't any better than the terrorists. We illegally went into a country, on a lie, and have killed 65,000 people......No wonder the world hates us. I would too.

Not illegal and not a lie, but there's no convincing you of that, so I won't bother. I'll just add that a significant amount of civillians killed have been killed by Al Qaeda in Iraq and by each other.

Rosie is the classic "she can dish it out, but can't take it" case. She's been bullying Elizabeth for months, even having the gall to say to her "you can't just BLATHER ON WITH YOUR OPINION...". Elizabeth finally having enough of her BS, gives her the same treatment she's been getting and Rosie can't take it. She took her ball and went home. Poor baby. Rosie is an obnoxious ogre -- and ignorant to boot.

When she said 655,000 Iraqi civiliians had been killed, so "who are the real terrorists"... there is no mistaking what she meant. Good riddance!

That's not to mention that the 655,000 is way overexaggerated.

Also, if you call Bush a terrorist, then wouldn't it be logical to assume that the troops who are carrying out his orders would also have to be considered terrorists? After all, in that line of thinking, they are the ones who are shooting, maiming, and destroying.

People that are abused as children often want to abuse in some shape or form when they become adults. Sadly Rosie had a tough childhood without her mother and had to endure an abusive father, it caught up to her along with her chemical unbalances that she writes about.

She needed help before now and hopefully her "wife" will encourage her to do so. Alot of people in show business, especially comedians come from painful pasts and they want to make people laugh but yet they are hurting. Not saying all of them, but many. There is information out there as well that paparazzi are also people that want revenge in life in some area. They feel like celebrities must be punished (its also great money!) Shoplifting is another form of revenge on society, many wealthy people shoplift when they don't need to simply because deep down they feel like they are "owed" something for what they've had to take.

When people put out garbage for long enough=they start believing it. I believe Rose believes what she says, most of it is just outlandish.

Negative! I'm sure you are speaking hypothetically on this Dave, but leave the troops out of it. They're following orders.

Rosie didn't say the troops are terrorists. She was implying that Bush is and I think she had a point. The bimbo bitch chose to play the troops card to deflect the comment away from the point, as is the way most republican talkers handle similar situations. Hell Fox couldn't wait to jump on it.

If Rosie was right and knew she was= she would have never backed down and left. She was wrong on her delivery, 100% rude. You don't say something and then get mad at others for not defending what you said, you say it and stand behind it=she didn't need defending and that's what she kept asking people to do for her on that show.

She should have stayed for the last 3 weeks and gone out standing behind what she said, not crawling off or whatever you want to call it and posting a blog everyday where others can't be there to DEFEND themselves. She's done this over and over with her other show, her magazine, her defunct Broadway show and now this.

Did someone forget that Iraq and the destruction on Sept. 11 have no relationship? According to our government, OBL is responsible for the destruction on Sept. 11.... hmmm, he's still running free and the Taliban continue to gain strength. It's a shame our military has been spread so thin they are unable to accomplish much of anything. Yeah, the invasion and occupation of Iraq makes a lot of sense  .

We will be at war for the rest of my life with Islamic terrorists. They see this as a pay back for the crusades. It is not rational, but it is what it is at this point. Our soil was attacked. We are not going to let the middle East oil be taken by China & Russia. AlQueda and the Taliban were in Iraq and Saddam paid them with his oil revenues. He gave them safe haven. Russian special ops were selling Saddam any military toys he wanted. Their convoy,55 semi's, were shown leaving for Lebanon as we entered from the south. Yes,we can see Russian troop movements and they can see ours by satallite and they said oops,we are out of here. The Israelis know where it is buried in the Becca valley in Lebonan. It sits there deteriorating, but Saddam had no WMD"S even though he used them in his country. Think he might have sold them to terrorists that could sneak in our porous borders. Now answer me this- Why is China drilling for oil off Mexico and not us and no refineries built in the last 30 yrs? Its the Dem party and their enviromentalists constituancy. Tech has changed. If Saudi Aribia had not captured 172 terrorists 2 wks ago ready to blow up their oil fields you would have been paying $10.00 a gallon and blamed who !!!. It should be Russia and China and the dictators they support. They want to see us go down. The Cold War is back under Putin, but this time China is involved.

Well, I guess I could be wrong but when Rosie made that statement I thought she was speaking from the point of the Iraq people. I thought she was saying if you look at this from their point of view we are the terrorist. I saw a piece some reporter did, she was talking to the people over there. She asked some men over there why they didn't join the army or the police over there and help stand up and fight for their country. There were different answers of course but the majority didn't see any reason to do that because they were perfectly happy letting the Americans get killed for it. But there was one man that said he wouldn't help the terrorists Americans kill any more of their people. So I know that there are some over there that do believe that way. I in no way believe that she meant we are terrorists only that some of the Iraq people think we are.
