I don't care. It's a fact.

The American and English charts matter WAY more than the Lichtenstein top 40 or the Alsasce-Lorraine Hot AC.

U mean it doesn't fit into ur hero worship Friga love fest?

Nothing the guy has done in over a decade fits in with the Friga love fest...but he gets a free pass due to the sheer AOR genius of his work between 1981-1996.

U left something out: "they matter to u"

No, those 2 charts matter way more to the rest of the world. THAT's where you need to aspire to chart if you want to "make it" in that biz. I'm not slighting the sovereignty or cultural individuality of Uzbekistan or Khazatskan or just being an "Ugly American" by saying that. It's common knowledge.

Yes, being a snob is a bad thing. Not saying you are one but who here likes someone that thinks they are better than everyone else or their opinion is better?

Dave - people who think they themselves are better than others is unattractive - but I can admire people who have high standards - and who put a value on excellence rather than mediocrity and so on.

Agree.

JSS should be huge all over the place. I think he's secure in it, though.

Matt: I'd get a solicitor if I were you. JRox cross examines until you either cave or pull a "Colnel Jessup" and hang yourself.

Now I'm totally confused.

I don't hear ANY mediocrity on Escape, Frontiers, ROR - and nor on much of TBF either. But maybe you're not much of a Journey fan?

Hay Eyenstine,

Are You saying AMERICAN A/C is more important than Canadian, Australian and Japanese mainstream charts?

Yes.

The world over, yes I am saying that, though Aussie is pretty important.

I know nothing of the Japanese charts that is a totally different world.

Canada?

Dude, you're kidding right? It's cute that you support your homeland and all but Canadian charts vs US/UK?

Why are you amazed that someone on this board wants to go against all the shrieking self-righteousness of the mob and try to defend the guy?

JR(Susie) wrote:Oh did Friga write all of those albums by himself?

This reminds me of arguing with those freakish Augeri fans who were so desperate to rewrite history and minimize Perry's contribution to the band.

Same thing, different guy now....

You know full well how important Cain has been to this group so let's not fart around. The issue is - does his character change the way you listen to the music? To me it doesn't. To you in your girlish and frozen adolescent state it does. Unless some guy is as sweet and unthreatening and unblemished like a small pony then you shan't listen to his music!

Fyre, your initial post was a good one. There were two mistakes in it though. 1) It could have been just as good of a post without calling Matt out on it. (poor Matt's been getting flogged constantly in this thread) 2) Larry Londin recorded ROR, bubble head Baird just toured it.

As far as Schon goes, and him supposedly being Jeff's buddy, I don't think so. If he was, he should have stepped up and threatened to walk if Jeff got canned. That would have ended it right there. But he let Azoff make decisions for his band. Let me tell you, if they replaced Perry, then they could certainly replace Cain. Schonny, I'm not so sure about.

Way to keep firing back Matt. I've felt sorry for you in this one. Cain sucks by the way.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Oh here we go...the elusive insider information technique....an old favourite with Deano and Susie too...

Well, yes...we'll see what unfolds...but be warned...the fact that Cain fired the Voice has never ruined my old Journey records for me..and any crime he's committed this year can't compare with that for sheer outrageousness and villainy....so do your worst.

I love when that happens here.

We should all run around with press passes, Rex Harrison Hats, bowties, notebooks, pencils in our ears and the nickname "Scoop."
