"He Can't Love You Like I Love You" .... by "first name last name" band (anyone?)
"Betty Davis Eyes".....don't remember her name
[/quote]

He Can't Love You- Michael Stanley Band-- ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY HUGE in Cleveland in 70's-80's- but their only hit outside of the area. Selling out Blossom Music Center (18,000+) 4 NIGHTS IN A ROW was common!!

Bette Davis Eyes- Kim Carnes

Fantasy is one of my all-time favs! It's #1 on one of my burned CD's in my car!

Here are some I came up with:

"When I'm With You"- Sheriff
"Go"- Asia
"The Doctor"- Doobie Brothers
"Crazy Crazy Nights"- Kiss
"Summer Nights"- Van Halen
"On the Dark Side," & "Tender Years"- John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band (from Eddie & the Cruisers)
"Carrie"- Europe
"Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)"- Glass Tiger (opened for Journey in '86 in Cleveland)
"Your Love"- The Outfield (I LOVE these guys!!)
"Man Against the World"- Survivor
"At This Moment"- Billy Vera & the Beaters

Hey maybe Journey should get Lemmy to sing. Look at all the fans he'd bring in.
He & RV could do some bass duets too.

Anyone remember the song "Don't Let Him Know" by a group called Prism?

The lead singer's name escapes me right now, but she has been touring again, largely because of that song. I'd pay to hear it live...great song.
