Woo-hoo!!! Boy, I haven't stopped thinking about Trevor since Monday, but I'm only now getting a chance to check in.
Wonderful news!!!

& Somehow the fact that you're focusing on a "breast feeding specialist" tells me you're feeling better about Trevor's situation, lol
& That’s great news, too!

I so hope he gets go home soon!!

One of the breast feeding specialists and we were talking, and Trevor's name came up. I had on a Vancouver Canucks shirt and she is from Vancouver. Trevor is named after Trevor Linden and his middle name is Jeffrey, after Soto....Anyway, this lady puts in a word to the Canucks and Trevor and some other players are going to contact us. Class guy and class players.

Trevor looks wonderful, breathing on his own, good colour, no tubes, everything is wonderful.

Thanks again everybody.

Fuck you reardon/troll/ JoeyDelight/Stempler/Openig ct, etc.

Tell yah what. I used to live in NY and still have friends there, so to read news like this on 9-11 is just incredible. Trevor has an angel looking over him.

So true...great news, Dean and Lula...hopefully soon those boys will be together again, at home, as it should be.

Rockindeano wrote:Thanks so much folks.

Here's what Trevor had happen to him yesterday.

The doctor, a 35 yr old stud from UCLA, goes into an artery via the upper right thigh..He goes into the artery with tool and works his way up into the heart region, and shoots the area full of dye...the reason? To take pics and get a real sense of area of size. Why? Well there is a mechanism that is going to be used to keep a valve open (ductus arteriosis)...a stint which is 3mm round with holes in it. I will explain later why the holes. Anyway, Dr Casares shoots the dye, takes a pic, and then studies his options. He decides on what size stint to use. Since the area to be wedged open is longer than the stint, he will use 2 stints, coupled together like a freight train. Also, the passageway to be kept open is not straight, so two stints coupled together will be a better fit anyway. So Doc goes back into artery with stint #1 in hand. He attaches the first one and goes and gets the second on and repeats maneuver. Stints coupled together, embedded in valve walls, results: success.

Sorry to disappoint you Reardon, but the kid will make it. Sorry about that.

To you folks in this thread, God Bless all of you. This is a living Hell for us, but it looks like he is going to make it and we can get on with life. Again, thank you and thanks to Danielle for this thread.

That is wonderful!! I am so glad to hear it went perfectly!

I like to call lactation consultants "Nipple Nazi's" but of course I love them dearly since I have no patience for dealing with difficult breastfeeding issues. Now, give me a stubborn fetus that won't come out and I'm all over that one!

I'm glad to hear this good news Dean! Still thinkin' about all of you!

Stealing a moment... ;)

The boys are doing well. Getting closer to a shared feeding schedule. The nights, only two so far, have not been completely insane. I've been on my own at night since Dean has been working and I'm still here, lol. I am so thankful to all of you for your prayers and concern for their well being. Eating, sleeping, and pooping.... things are on track.
Until we meet again, may God
Hold you in the palm of his hand.

I can't even imagine what it must be like to have to juggle two newborns while trying to establish a feeding and sleeping schedule. Image
