No way, so the band in that clip wasn't Journey? I was under the impression that the entire Journey band was playing in someone's back yard at a private party. And that sucks about the cops showing up. Basically I think if someone would have invited the chick who called the cops over to the party, she may have been down with all the activities. 9 times out of 10, people will call the cops cause they feel left out. It's their way of using the long arm of the law to dick with the group of people that they feel purposely left them out and deprived them of fun and a good time.
No, CJ, the band was not Journey. Did you see Neal or Ross or Jon in that clip? The band is Frontiers, a Journey tribute band. It's lead singer is Jeremey Hunsicker, the guy who sang the Perry part in the clip. Jeff was invited to the party and honored us (and Frontiers) by singing for us.
I believe the neighbors in the immediate vicinity were notified (and invited) to this soiree'. The complaint (if that's what you call it) was from about 4 miles away and it took the cops quite a while to even find us. The lady even told them that she was enjoying the music. There was no trouble, the cops were cool, and it was an all-around fantastic night.
