But if this year is anything like last year, I'm sure I'll be doing Cali once or twice again! What a great time last fall huh? Memories to cherish for sure. Lar, thank you......but Dean and Lula and their twins went through far worse disgustingness with that demented nutbar than I did. I saw it for what it is, for some reason he/she/it couldn't stand that I met Perry and has tried to take something away from that great day.....it'll never happen. Life goes on.

So is the whole Arnel vs. JSS thing... the two are worlds apart in entertaining ability and 98% of this board would rather walk across America to watch JSS wash the dishes than bother with a Journey/Arnel show in their own backyard. How many threads does is take to hash over Arnel's (lack of) stage presence? We already have 2 and that's 2 more than necessary.

It's not even just so much in the looks. Don't hurt me, but look at SP.....he didn't have those chiselled Bon Jovi good looks....but he had a sex appeal and "it" factor far beyond. Both SA and AP aren't unattractive guys, but IMO they just don't have the sex appeal and "it" factor that SP and JSS do. Hell Perry is almost 60, isn't even entertaining anymore and he still exudes it.

I don't quite get you either JoePa, you make it sound like those are the one and only reason why any females are Journey fans. For most of us, it's about the music first. Talent and sex appeal don't have to be exclusive from each other. Please tell me there is at least one female singer or actress that you think is both sexy and talented. See watch, I'm a heterosexual woman and can fully admit that I think Nicole (Pussycat dolls) and Shania Twain are both very sexy and talented women and gosh I didn't have to go through a 12-step program to admit it either. I pulled away from the vocals at times where Deen sang unison (in music terms means the same notes as I) on certain songs, I would 'cheerlead' the crowd to sing by not doing so on the mic...have always done this on anthemic songs with any band I've been in, especially when the crowd knows the song as well as the creator. I listened to the clip & trust me, the backing tapes are barely on, those vocals are very much live as I mentioned, Deen is up there on the highs with me, Jon handled the mids & Neal/Ross had the lower harmonies, that was one that never needed backing assistance therefore their mixed quite low live.

Lakers rules, sorry, they may have horrible moments the past years but I am a diehard since the Magic Johnson days so I can't be swayed by some hockey loving dickhead I say that with all love!
