Yeah, Deen looks too thin. He better bulk up before they hit the road!! But I think part of the problem is the sun right behind his head.

What I don't like about the photo: it looks like everyone is "equal" except Arnel. It does make him look like simply a hired-hand, not a real member of Journey...

Exactly, why isn't, say....Ross or Jon or Deen standing down in front instead, with Arnel in the middle somewhere. Just reminds me a lot of the promo shot with JSS.

Not sure, best I could do is trace my steps back to when I was 8 years old and popped open a container of powdered swiming pool chlorine I found at the side of the pool and took a big wiff. That was absolutely going to be my comment too. That's why he's on the end AND wearing black.
Very easy fix. Easy to ace him out of the photos when they move to dump him.
Just like the way they cropped the JSS one.

I actually really liked the Generation promos in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.

It's not a bad pic. Neither was the Red Rocks one with JSS. But you gotta wonder about the positioning.

I know that Neal likes steps, stairs, rocks, anything that can make him look taller. I brought that up back with Soul SirkUS. JSS would always be down off the curb and spreading his stance or leaning against something to be closer to Neal's height.

It has also become obvious that Neal (and Jon sometimes) seem to be the visual focal point. But they do try to use foreground and background to keep it subtle. Much like movies with co-lead stars will put one name top left and the other bottom right. Top is a lead billing but right is a first billing so it equals it out. Journey has been doing something visually similar for quite some time...

Yep, love that Generations shot up in the Marin Headlands I think with Augeri looking somewhere else, ala Perry/TBF....

Like the TBF one, too, where that at the bottom of some well or something looking up.
