Yeah I am now more of a singer/songwriter guy fan.

I forgot to add Celine Dion in there. I can listen to her voice all day. Same with Leanne Rymes.

And The Corrs, don't forget the Corrs. You like The Corrs, and I like the Coors. :D

Too bad she wrote off Vegas you might be able to take in her show.

Great voice
used to find it thrilling
but as they say sometimes
there can be too much of a good thing
& her voice has percipitated & now the sound of it grates on my nerves.

I was never a big Celine Dion fan but I sure do enjoy her version of Oh Holy Night.

Don't know if I ever heard her OHN
So here it is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Jr-2eyRtV4

Orchestration helps alot
but
Sure it;s brilliant
CD has a great voice
She can really belt them out
just a very distinctive voice
& overplaying of some songs has
lead to a saturation point...

Pure voice of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa from New Zealand
sings the best Oh Holy Night
too bad I couldn;t find it
but saw it one Christmas Eve when she sang in St Patricks Cat...

Gives you chills

Still has one of the purest angelic soprano voices!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDMiHSgTz7Q

even the classics are good

Love
"Climb Every Mountain"

I do know at least that they've banged some of the same strippers, the way Stevie tells it! :P

Here he is going for the Vince Neil look:

My big "WTF?" was for the two clowns on the left. Holy hell, those two give Bret Michaels and Rikki Rockett a serious run for their money in the "Bwaaaaaahaaaaahaaaaaa!" department.

right after that glam metal phase ended around '92 or so i guarantee you fifty or sixty percent of the female fanbase of rock went with it.i spoke to a lot of women who said this back in the late 90's.once that grunge scene hit with the unkempt look and crappy suicide songs of grunge most women kept listening to poison or bon jovi and weren't interested in stuff like soundgarden, stone temple pilots or alice in chains.either that or they stopped listening to rock and started on country with garth brooks, clint black, travis tritt, etc.

i also think once that scene died out and grunge hit a lot of the teenagers of the early 90's started listening to gangsta rap and stuff like that.thats when the wigger phase went into fashion.i had a guy in my car around this time who didn't know who led zeppelin was and said those guitars were hurting his ears and could i please play some real music like some geto boys or somethin',lol.

Where's Guiffria? Sorry, I don't have a picture handy just now, but I'll come back later with one if no-one has posted a pic in the meantime.

Without looking through this whole thread, I think it's safe to say Dean hates every band except Journey, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, and The Corrs.

I wish I could find a pic of Warrant in those ridiculous white spandex outfits they used to wear. Those looked pretty dorky as well.

So, looking through all the posts, it really seems Deano hates guys with hairy chests. LOL

I wonder how many of those guys look back and those pictures and want to shoot themselves?

That would have to include Paul Stanley, who is unrepentantly hairy-chested... :P
