I love all the whining and moaning about every single solitary detail of their new site.


The fact that it's back (and with a forum to boot) pisses "Journey fans ( )" off to no end.

Jihidists aren't happy because Journey still exists and they used a b&w of perry w/ the bouffant ( ).

Drive-By-Shooters (though still few and far between here between the loon jihadists and the assassins) are angered because...I don't even know why, actually

Assassins are frothing because the band didn't give them a chance to be infuriated over omitting the JSS era....

And all are collectively bent that the site is back at all.

I think it's all hilarious too. Thats why I get a kick out of reading here....the obsession over every nuance...how every tiny detail connected to this band is overanalyzed and looked at for the "hidden meaning"...my gosh, the intrigue!..and how Perry is obsessed over, even including his..ummm.. ( cough, cough)....unbelievable! It's all the characters in this soap opera...not only the band and those tied to them but the bit players....the fans who have their own parts in the melodrama on these sites. Even when the band aren't "on" there are plenty of episodes to watch..just by tuning in here. Sometimes I just shake my head at it all...some episodes are bizarre to say the least....some are sad...some touching...some are a good mystery where you have to figure out if the butler did it... but most of the time it's a comedy and it's the funniest dang show I've seen..guess thats why I keep tuning in here! HA!
....The "official" channel I have no desire to tune in to..too boring....this is the only channel I need for the Journey show because, like you said..it has it all !

There are now 2 prominent Journey forums. You can now choose which style best suits you and be happy with it - or even use both. The tone of this forum has been great in recent weeks and I wouldn't like to see it used as a platform to criticize any other forum.

Maybe some more so than others, but I see it as a discussion over something that's new, and what people like and don't like about it. It would be the same if this were a new album... "I like this song, and that one, but this one blows..." What's the big deal about discussing it? The thing has been down for 6 months, so I figure of course people are going to talk about it.

Don't see why you think that...wasn't making a big deal out of it...and as for obsession I didn't mean in reference to only this topic...was referring to the whole picture. Everyone has their say and I sure don't want to stop them...just saying I find the humor in it all sometimes and all dialog is needed for that to continue to happen... so please proceed
