A dogs mouth is cleaner compared to ours.

To me it tastes like a runny, sunnyside up egg, mixed with an overfried egg (where you get it a little crunchy) and a hard boiled egg all mixed into one.
Not that you were asking me, but I thought I would give the western person's taste comparison. I'm sure Wech has a totally different taste experience with it.

Thanks for responding Gunbot, I only addressed the question towards him because
he was the thread starter.
I'm interested in what anyone who's tried this has to say. :)
I like eggs and though I would have to close my eyes eating this, think I'd give it a try.

If you were blind, or ate it in the dark without knowing what it looked like, it wouldn't be bad at all, just too salty for me. It's the visual appeal of the thing that is daunting for most people.

To MG, don't be embarrassed by your friganese, it takes time to become proficient.

That tingy is to be eaten with caution ...
A little salt to add a distinct flavor ...
It is dangerous to eat them in excess. There's too much nutrients in them.
A friend of mine overate and he turned swollen blue all over - It took I think two weeks of constant medication to have his body cleanst.

Two should be fine, never in excess and taken with beer on a "special" occasion.
Turtles are taken with whiskey.

LOL. So far none of the American foods (btw I don't really consider that pear salad thing to be American... maybe it's from another region) that you have mentioned are things I actually eat. Except Chinese food. Not a fan of caramel apples.

I came onto this thread late, but the key to eating caramel apples is to slice them up into fourths or eighths (be sure the caramel is cold and solid) and eat them as slices. Even better if you roll the caramel apple in nuts! Yummy!

I've just figured why WC (That's a piss outlet in the UK by the way!) doesn't get to taste great food in the UK and passes it off as awful. These eggs turn you blue right? Well imagine the owners of a classy restaurant in London confronted with a blue filipino asking for a meal, I know what I'd say, get the fuck out of here  So he hit's the takeaways and only ever tastes the shit food.

I'm vindicated WC. Stop eating those fucking eggs and next time you're in town, try some good British food

Hey Deb,

I once saw an act in Spain, this woman used an egg. you heard the crunch and out came the yellow stuff, it should have turned me off but it didn't  Pretty cool trick. She also burst baloons with a pea shooter inserted in the same place and it wasn't her mouth 8)
