See? My gosh are you the walking definition of a narcissistic personality disorder. The scientists doing the study could certainly use you. Hey, look on the bright side,..they may lock you in a small room but you will get feed and you'll be contributing towards the research into your disorder to maybe help others even though you are beyond help now. 8)

That should have been the end of it, but you felt the need to respond...like you always do. Fuck, I've gotten 3 PMs already with people laughing at the fact that they just knew you'd be on me like a rabid dog. You're famous for this shit. Everyone knows that...except you. Go back here or to other sites and re-read your 3 page diatribes to Larry and others. You're the definition of someone that "always has to have the last word." And God Damn are you boring. Good day, ma'am.

No shit. I love Faithfully and it was my wedding song, but Friga couldn't write My Hometown; he hasn't written anything with real meaning.

No it's not. Send Her My Love is. You need to go back to Journey 101 grasshopper, and pull Schon's dick out yer ass!

Oh man how cool would it be to be able to sing Faithfully like Perry? Man, instant pussy right there! Anyway, and by the way, Perry could sing Charlotte's Web and it would be a platinum album.

No, I simply gave my opinion on something that differed with your's and right off the bat you were insulting and called me dumbass..go back a page and look. I thought you were joking initially so I insulted you back...jokingly. You can dish it out but you can't take it in return, because you then actually get mad and more vicious and you are no longer playing around..so you are the one with the problem.
There is also a history of you leveling personal attacks towards me in the past when I said nothing towards you to provoke it as well. If I am wrong in this then why is it that you have apologized to me for your behavior several times now?
Oh, and as far as other boards go, I think that you are the one that has been the main topic of discussion, not I, so that star status is yours. As to being famous for giving it back as good as I get, yes you have a point because I have received numerous pm's over time complimenting me for it...so regardless of what you think and say not everyone happens to agree with you....but that won't get thru to a narcissistic person like yourself.
I don't always "have to get the last word" either, there have been many times I've let things go because the person attacking usually ends up showing what an ass they are without any need to further comment on it. I just shake my head and laugh at how stupid what has been said to me is...just like I'm doing now with your comments. I may be boring but you and your friend Tito would certainly fit that discription as well.
Good night to you and get over yourself....and remember...don't strike out at someone if you don't want them to strike back. ...and don't start getting pissy so fast when your losing a debate. or when someone disagrees with you
...you keep it civil and so will I.8)

Really? Per the man himself...when asked what his favorite song to perform live is he answered, and I quote:

"Faithfully." It was my mother's favorite. She used to cry when she would watch T.V., especially when she was at her sickest. My dad used to tell me that he would have to calm her down; she would just break into tears when the video came on T.V. I think she felt it was her song; the lyrics are great "being apart ain't easy on this love affair" and "they say that the road ain't no place to start a family." Bless her heart.

I believe that he once said that he was most proud of SHML (perhaps lyrically) or something gay like that.  Something about it being "cinematic." But this was a point blank question about which song he most liked performing live, and his answer was "Faithfully."

Joe Benson: "I heard Send Her My Love is your favorite song?"

Steve Perry: "It's one of my favorites. You know it's hard because as I look back now boy I'm really proud of everything the band accomplished when we were together. Send Her My Love is one of my favorites. It's cinematic, it's got some kind of visuals to it, a little more than most. In the sound of the instruments, the feel of the drums, the character of the voice and the echoes. It just sounds cinematic to me."

It's his version of Faithfully I'm not crazy about...but that's my favorite ballad of all-time by Perry or anyone.

Arnel brings more emotion to 'Open Arms' than Steve Perry??! SJ, that's not an opinion, that's
a cry for help - seriously, even Keith Richards would be saying "Lay off the drugs man, they're

done. The song choice isn't really the problem. I clicked on some other YouTube links to get a
sense of Lani on other songs - she has a beautiful voice that sounds operatic when she's
simply singing notes, not words. But it's all power and no subtlety or interpretation, almost
as if the meaning of the words is irrelevant.

When they sing together, it's like two separate performances happening onstage at the same
time. Arnel is in his groove, doing his lead performance and she kicks in like she's trying to
wake him up or blow him off the stage, instead of turning it down a notch so their voices
blend. They may want to study some performers who do great duets, like Stevie Nicks and
Lindsay Buckingham or Faith Hill and Tim McGraw to get a sense of how they should interact
and harmonize. As Arnel is the lead singer of Journey, it's his song, so she does need to be
the one to synchronize with his vocals.
It, does sound llike she is overpowering and pushing him; she's not with him at all.
