If I may make one small request of your temporary Schaumburgians, Fridays are madness for me and the traffic (though only about 12 miles) from my office to the Woodfield area on a Fri evening takes a good 45 minutes, so can we have a starting time of 7:30ish? I don't know if I'll tag along to Barleycorn or not, if I did I'd only end up hiding from the massive hoard of Trixies and d'bags that all John Barleycorns attract like moths to a flame and finding my way to the couch in the backstage room and taking a nap (no lie, I'm turning 80 on the 23rd this month, and that couch is damn comfortable), but I'm in on the pre-festiveness at the DoubleTree.

JB's does have some outrageously good noshing if anyone wants to have a group meal beforehand... there's also an Uno's, Chevy's, Weber, and Red Robin in eyeshot. There's California Pizza, Houlihan's, Fuddrucker's, PF Changs, Big Bowl (PF Changsish with more curries), and Red Lobster just a little further beyond those. If you guys want to do this, let's have a head count by next Thursday and I'll make the reservations.

And when you get a whole group of them together in a social scene it's just damn annoying. Too much competition to snag the guy wearing the most Ed Hardy swag.
