Journey are currently working on a new album with producers Kevin Elson and Mike Frasier. The band plan to give out the as-yet-untitled release to attendees of their upcoming summer tour, which will be billed as "An Evening with Journey" and sponsored by Clear Channel.

That's pretty cool...like Prince did...

I can't believe it is sponsered by Clear Channel!! Maybe they really are trying to clean up their image. But CC was not too pro-Journey when they toured for Arrival. Even the stations that were broadcasting from the concert seemed to be talking about Peter Frampton more than Journey.

My ticket stub says it was a Clear Channel event.

I wasn't aware of that since I was unable to attend last year.
I still think it is a crock for CC to promote the tour but not the band. Usually you can atleast hear new music from a band for the week or so before the show. Here it has been NOTHING...
