NEal blurb on VH1.com

Journey has a new album on its way out. This one's called Generations, and it's the thirteenth album to be released under the well-know band name of Journey. Though Journey has managed to sell 75-million albums around the world through the popularity of monstrous ballads like "Open Arms," Neal Schon says they didn't rely just on the softies for this one. "I think it's probably one of the strongest-sounding Journey records ever. It's a rocker. This one is a rocker and there's not a lot of Kleenex songs. You know, the ballads, there's only a couple of ballads on it and they're really cool ballads. They're power ballads and not syrupy, you know, gooey crap." Journey will be playing their songs - rocking and ballady alike - on a summer tour this year. The trek kicks off June 26th and runs right on through the end of September. The album, Generations, will be out as the tour gets going.
