How HARD will Generations ROCK?!

Postby jrnyjetster » Thu Jun 09, 2005 8:19 am

 Will this be the one Journey album that solidifies this lineup? I myself, am looking forward to a progressive, modern Journey.

I don't think of the term "hard" when I think of Journey. I never have. But I also look forward to a nice mix of progressive rock with modern, popular rock.

Ditto jrnyjester. Those would qualify as hard rock songs. Hope they have more rockers on this album. It will be a welcome change from the powder puff stuff of the past.

Two or three ballad is fine, but rest of it needs to rock-ERIC

This is a great listing songs that I'd love to hear!!! Could I possibly add "Dead or Alive" and "Stone In Love" from Escape...and Dixie Highway, one of my all-time favs! :D

Everyone who has so far had the priviledge to hear the album (George Tickner, CJ's husband, Mark, and our very own Andrew) has stated otherwise. They say that 'Generations' emphatically DOES indeed rock!

HOTS- you're certainly entitled to your predictions, but what exactly makes you think it won't rock?

Sounds like more baseless pessimism to me.

Sweet!
Andrew has an official copy in his possession which means we can expect a review (and soundbytes) sometime very soon.

Soundbytes! I am in desperate need of soundbytes!!!!

HOTS, I guess you have heard the album already, huh? That's the only way you could know if it rocks or not.

How do you know unless you've already heard it? I found your post to be very smug with absolutely NOTHING to back up your comments. Do you just post for the sake of posting...yeah, I think you do.

What do you expect? She NEVER brings anything of substance to the conversation..just a wicked, depressed, and negative person. Goddammit I hate reading her posts...in fact I hate the fact I need to take the extra 1 second to scroll past her "entry."

Come on HOTS, bring it, if you can.
