I can see that Journey is going to bring out the best in some folks with this one. Poor Journey. It's fans are their own worst enemy.

What is THAT supposed to mean?!?! Seems to me that this year is bringing out the BEST in Journey fans, for real. Anyone with extra copies is passing them off to fans that cannot make it to a show this year. At least they are not going out there and selling their extra copies!

Hell, I would be willing to send YOU a copy of the CD so that you could give it a real listen, on me. But I know it is a waste of time based on your recent posts...you would never be objective. You would never allow yourself to actually enjoy the new music...

So fans that cannot go to the show are being helped out by fans who are going to multiple shows, so what? The music is still reaching the fans...and that is what matters. PLUS, most of those fans will STILL buy the new CD when it is available through retail.

The fact is, this CD will be available for download sometime next week. But the real fans will buy the music anyway. It is obvious that record sales is not the main motivation for Journey with this CD...it is about getting the music to the people!

Journey's fans are not hurting the band, but there will be others that do.

I expect to wind up with 8-9 CDs by the end of the tour. I'll keep 2 for myself (one for home, one for the car) and will thus have 6-7 spares to share. I already have 2 people I *know* won't be getting to any shows this year. After that, it's give away to other fans who can't make it.

So, Andrew, if no one gets a copy to ya before August 2 (my 4th show) I've got a spare for ya.

I have the album yes, but on CDR at this point and I'll get an original from the European label when it's done, BUT, I'd like a US pressing for my collection also.
