A Schon

Looking today at the CD, ..A Schon is listed for writing credits on the Valory sung tune, "Gone Crazy," along with Neal Schon, J Cain, and Tribble.

1) I assume A is for Amber? Too cool. I guess she is either musically inclined or due to osmosis, the ability to write came from her husband.

2) Anyone know who Tribble is? Monker?

This CD has writers, Cain, Augeri, N Schon, A Schon, DeRossi and Tribble.

No Valory, Castronova. I guess diversity is a good thing eh?

I posted a while back that Kim Tribble (male) is a songwriter who has written a lot of country stuff. I was wondering if it is the same one. He is also credited with some Arrival tunes.

Don't know who he is.

But he co-wrote several songs on Arrival too.

Anyone any ideas??

I have a question for Andrew, or anyone else who knows the answer. How are writing credits figured out? For example, in the song Butterfly, Augeri is the only credited writer (I have heard). But he could not possibly have written every keyboard, guitar, bass and drum part. How much of a song do you have to write to receive exclusive credit as the song's author? Are just the words and a melody enough?

Steve answers that in my interview to a point. In fact, he did write allparts for the song, inspired by watching Jon's playing...

Wow, so Steve can write parts for each instrument? He is inspired by Jon? Sounds like Journey really has great chemistry right now.

Looking forward to reading your interviews, Andrew.
