I am writing this as I listen to the new Journey CD blasting through my headphones .........I dont have the track listings so i cant comment on each title ... I am currently at track 5 but all I can say up to now is....



FRIGGING AWESOME...........I honestly felt I was going to be dissapointed....nooooooooooo wayyyyyyyyyyyyy

Yeah. Augeri's vocals really put it over the top. He sells it.
Having the misfortune of being placed immediately after the musically prosaic "Believe", does sort of bring the track down a tad though.

Whats great about listening to a new CD is that you have immediate faves then others grow on you and you end up liking them more...

Neals certainly a smokin !!

I like 11 out of the 12 songs............the Valory sung song will be on auto skip......

Check out In Self Defense. it Rocks, and I get the feeling it's not so much political as a warning shot to would-be terrorists. I know, it's a reworked cover of an older Neal song but the time(s) is right and so the band resurrected it. What a bad-ass tune that is.
My one critique at this point is that Steve should've handled the too-high-for JC bridge vocal at the end of Every Generation, an amazing tune with a rockabilly piano.
