Okay perry heads...I just have to get this off my chest.

MelodicRock.com is an amazing forum. I have been posting on and off here for several months (probably longer). My favorite forum is the Journey forum, with Styx being second. That being said,

Why can't you Steve Perry Only supporters bring something new to the table????? I think differing opinions are wonderful - it is what makes the world go round, but, the repetitiveness of your arguements is like finding that same bad penny. It is a never ending cycle.

Rockndeano wouldn't have to get so bent out of shape for the same ole tired thing!

Instead, let's focus on what the Journey fans constantly have to keep stopping to respond to; the non-stop fusilade of designedly instigative comments made by the 'Loons.

Has there ever been a "Generations"-themed thread that was not infiltrated by a 'Head for the intended purpose of tearing the current band down? Very rarely.
Look at Soledad's posts. He epitomizes the type of worthless incendiary pablum that Perryheads consistently try to pass off as legitimate discussion here.
It's not discourse, and posts like his shouldn't be treated as such.
The Journey fans talk about an array of Journey-related subjects and the Perryloons consistently try to subvert the thread off the rails (usually making it into an unmitigatable Augeri/Neal vs. Perry pissing match).

Journey fans are here to talk openly and honestly about the band they love, the Perryfans are here for an entiriely different reason.
That much has been clear since the very beggining.

If you can't take ownership for what you post, then you shouldn't be posting it. Nobody is forcing anybody to say anything on these forums. They are YOUR typing fingers, not somebody elses.

Sure, people on here try to provoke a reaction...But, when that reaction DOES happen, the people doing the reacting need to take responsibility for what they write -- not blame THEIR WORDS on the provokers.

And, it should be ANDREW taking care of the provokers here...not other members. That is one big problem I have with BT...certain members seem to think they are some kinda back up moderator - and the moderators seem to not care and let it slide. I think that sucks...and it sucks when it happens on ANY forum.
