I had heard on Howard Stern last year..they were going to hire a band for a party, and they went through everybody who is anybody..

Journey was 175K I believe...

I know Journey plays a LOT of private gigs like this. They played for Qwest in Colorado the night before the Greeley gig last year. And I think they played for Toyota not too long ago.

I booked the band for my sister's wedding....with the provision that the ESCAPE and FRONTIERS fab five would play...they accepted. So much for Perry being SUCH the outcast...

I'm not entirely sure of the exact amounts or details but I've heard that Journey gets anywhere from $150,000 to $300,000 USD depending on how long they play, plus traveling expenses.
