In 1977, Journey hired lead singer Steve Perry. Perry’s strong vocals proved to be the missing puzzle piece, and the band’s fourth album, Infinity, sold more than a million copies in one year. Modernizing over the years, Journey’s latest albums are filled with powerful, melodic grooves and riffs.

When Augeri joined in 1998, his powerful vocals revived the band from a slump. His voice is sure to energize the crowd today. “We’ve seen a Renaissance in the fans ... a lot of younger 18-to-25 demographics,” Cain said.

Can we agree AT LEAST that Augeri has kept the sinking ship afloat....but Perry was a FAR superior vocalist and stage prescence....
