As long as the Chisox get help from blue, they are shoe-ins..
That crap last night was just that; crap. The umpire was just relieved of his duties about an hour ago..

Hey I don't dispute at all it was a bad call. Seriously. But until they change the rules...I guess we'll just have to go on to the next game.

Say what? The rules are fine..Just don't call him out, and then say you didn't! There is a reason he was let go today...
And you just knew the next batter would jack one off the wall, just knew it....
I mean that wasn't even close. No problem, Angels win the next 3..

Oh, back on topic..
On the radio today, Howard had on AC/DC.. it was taped from a few years back, right before they were inducted into HOF..Howard asked them what the big deal was and they said, "Hell if we know. It's a big ******* joke." We are goin for the free drinks lad!" Aussies...
Anyway, Journey WILL get in someday..They just are too good not to. That show the other night was the best show from any band I have ever seen....period. Alex VH, Marilyn Manson in attendance? What does that tell you? I guess Alex wanted to see how a real band performs..lol
So JT, while not in the HOF now, they will be.. and if they do get inducted, I will make sure you don't get anywhere near downtown Cleveland....

I agree the call was bad, but I think they would have won anyway.

I do hate to agree with this post, but it is SO obvious that fans are staying away because Perry is no longer the lead singer....and yes, I HAVE talked to some. And I'm just one fan...don't even begin to tell me that im the only one this has happened to.

We do not care about you bald, glasses, fat elvis costello loving music mainstream critics...who vote for the Jan Wenner Hall of Shame. It has zero crediblity. I don't care who's in it or who's out. It sucks, it's a joke, it's not rock and roll and it means nothing to me. F it!

It's all politics and PR just like the Grammys and other major award shows, and the WOF on a smaller scale. I think most of the winners and honorees are happy to get them though. It's a status symbol and it gets their names out there. It really doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of their work though.

Some fans, yes.
I know quite a few of them; by and large vapid girlies who revere Perry to deity-like levels( no suprise there

).
But not all fans are shying away from the Journey of 2005.
If that was the case, then how would they have been able to tour all these years?

That's what I mean. Alot of the artists I buy CDs from are on Frontiers records and they turn out some stellar incredible work. But I know it's not going to be acknowledged in any of these. Also, I always enjoy/but take with a grain of salt any type of 100 best list in some music magazine or VH1 show because it's always going to be BS.

Speaking about lists, do you agree with any of these, let's say the top 20?

Most of those lists reflect more of what's hot at the moment along with the iconic performers that have to be included, like the Beatles, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton etc. They're not at all based on talent.

After hearing Open Arms twice this morning, I say that Sadies list is on the money and reflects talent and what is hot. I think that this song has played every day of it's life, somewhere, since it was born, thanks to that very recognizable voice.
Yes Osherr! #1

I like the list, especially that it showed what it was based on...Perry in the top five is pretty fair, given the lack of respect the band has been given by concert reviewers, on the whole, over the years.
I did think Sting was a little low, along with Peter Gabriel and David Gilmour.
