Is there any reason that Journey hasn't released any songs off Generations to AC???????

They want to be considered a ROCK band. So they released the sungle to ROCK radio. Where they need to be is CHR POP and HOT AC!

Personally, I would like to see a push for TPIYH (which isn't happening), then another Rock song (to the right outlets) and after that THEN release a ballad to AC, HOT AC, CHR POP, etc.

AC = Never too Late, Place in Your Heart
POP = Beyond the Clouds, Knowing That You Love Me
Video = Faith in the Heartland

I hate to say this, but why do I feel like we are shoveling shit against the tide? Who the frigg is in charge of promotion at Sanctuary? Geez...let me guess...It certainly doesn't seem like a whole lot of money is being spent on getting GENERATIONS noticed, on either side.

Maybe I should be clearer, I did not "ask" these questions. I "suggested" that Journey should release the singles to other formats. I gave examples of other similar bands within those formats. I did not receive any specific responses from the mods. Of course, even if I did, it would probably be something like 'I will pass this on to management' and then I would never hear anything again. The best response I have so far is "When we get a radio station list we will provide it to you". So we should know who has "added" the single someday.

But I keep trying.
