If I'm the band and management and label I am trying to contact Stallone/UA pics and pitching The Place In Your Heart for the soundtrack. If not that, than SOMEthing from Generations.

I can write TPIYH into Sly's script treatment as either a training montage backing track or a moment of truth realization/reflection alone moment (like the car in Rocky 4). It centers around Rock alienating a loved one, be it Adrian, his kid, Paulie or someone else with his decision to re enter the prize ring. In a cliche (hell what's a Rocky without a handful?) , he's doing what he's gotta do, but all the while with this person on his mind and the need to get back to the place in their heart....Splice in scenes from the past films (or set it against scenese of him working out) all the while the song's playing over the film. You have a big, dramatic, feel good crowd worker of a sequence.

Apparently Survivor's (granted, they have a track record with these films) got a new one called Fire Makes Steel in the running to be the theme song of the movie. Why not have JRNY try and horn in on it, too?

That's a great idea!
Or they could try and get OOHW into Rambo 6 when that comes around...

Yea, I've been hearing Adrian booted....she may or not be back.
Believe could also work, thematically speaking. Just drop Sly an email or something, guys.

Or maybe they could just follow in the footsteps of Charlize Theron and the White Sox and just steal some mojo from Don't Stop Believin'?

At Rocky's age it better be In Self-Defense. Is he boxing or is he a trainer in this one?

I remember Ask The Lonely was in that piece of shit Olivia/Travolta movie, Two of a Kind...it was barely discernible on a kitchen radio in a short scene...Thank God!!!!
Only The Young, on the other hand, was utilized GREAT in Vision Quest!!!!

To reaffirm this great idea(no, this isn't some gay BT dream)..

I would cast Neal Schon into the movie..He is a lazy ass and isn't doing anything anyways..

He could be a trainer(cussing, tough looking), and Augeri could play a part as a sporting goods salesdude, selling Rock some shoes(actually, thieving them from the receiving truck, and forwarding them to Rock)..okay, that idea is gay...

but NS in the movie..very real..

Rock, if anyone can the ball rolling on this it's probably you.
TPIYH, ISD, Believe (insert NC rip HERE), NTL, christ there are so many that would fit. And the band totally fits the genre he puts on the Rocky soundtracks..... I'm telling ya. Survivor;s Fire Makes Steel as the theme and TPIYH as pt2 of the training montage (pt I being the classic Conti workout feelgood score).

I think the music to ESCAPE would be cool during the training sequences or from the "Oh gotta go..." on...it fits. IMO...
