Thanks for posting, but this article is crap.
I don't think Perry, Cain, or Schon would appreciate how this writer flippantly denigrates their song.

"From the opening piano line and the easily mimicked guitar solo to the corporate pep rally lyrics backed up by a beat that always gets our head a-nodding, we know the song isn’t a contender for any of those “best songs of all time” lists. But as writer Bob Cook points out on MSNBC.com, when you’re looking for a song to get you psyched up “the quality of a song, or what it’s actually about, doesn’t necessarily matter.”

"easily mimicked guitar solo"?!?!? WTF? :x

This guy seriously needs to go sit on a plunger handle and rotate. :x
Turd polishing shit master :x :x

Anyone who doesn't like DSB, or any one of Journey's music has to be one of those idiots who either likes rap/cultural awareness shit or that screaming, moronic heavy metal lunacy. I mean, really, do we listen to music to have our ears assaulted or our social, moral, or political consciences raised? I don't know about you guys, but I listen to music to make me feel good, and Journey music does that.

Sorry if that sounds like a rant, but that "fluff" comment really pissed me off.

That's funny..I thought the guy had a SERIOUS hip injury? Must have shook it off eh?

To my knowledge, hips NEVER heal themselves....so please explain this one. I guess Herbie wasn't full of shit was he?

I believe you Perry only fans just got caught with your hands in the cookie jar! Busted!

C'mon sugar, it's wasn't as if he was break dancing or anything, he was just moving around and shaking his arms like a baseball fan rooting for his team. Nothing that would have thrown anyone's hip out.

The damned Astros have two on. This is getting critical.

Not to mention he had that hip fixed!

Did not watch the game last night, now wish I had. Actually felt like I have after reading this thread!

I wonder if Perry ever thought that he would ever become a good luck charm for a baseball team? Gotta love him.

What a tense game. I went through a big bowl of grapes, a jar of peanuts, a six pack of ginger ale and that's after a big Mexican dinner.

Perry looked wonderful last night.. What a high for him.

I wish you'd seen it PF. It was the most exciting game I've seen in 30 years. I didn't get to bed until sometime after 2:00 am, but it was worth it.

He was nervewracking to watch. He reminded me of Tim Robbins' character in Bull Durham, he was all over the place.
