According to the Chicago news (WGN,) Don't Stop Believin' is the #3 most downloaded iTunes song according to the charts. This is great news for the band!!

Hip...Hip...Hooray? Really, who gives a goddamn?
-Awake me when there is a resurgent cultural demand for "higher place".
(which, yes, I am fully aware would be impossible as there was no initial cultural demand for it to begin with ).

I went to iTunes and didn't see it on their Top Ten list...maybe I heard it wrong. You guys can go to WGN's website (where Perry's singing video is at) and download the celebration video. The anchor girl said something about it toward the end of the video.
It is great for the band, Greggi. Some people are just angry because they know that the meaning of the song for most Journey fans is that they have never stopped believing in Steve Perry.
With me refusing to take sides, I find seeing any publicity related to the band positive - even if it was Steve Perry who made the publicity possible. The band could take advantage of this opportunity just as much as Steve Perry could.
