I was wrong about Perry no longer being known or popular. The guy has it...I have to admit.

As for his voice....not too shabby overall.

I hope he pops up some night with Journey.

I admit that, other than the RNRHOF, I do not want to see Perry with Journey. But I do wnat Perry to record solo.

Life is too short! I'll never say never with the guys getting together for "one last time." They have a chemistry that can't be denied.

I just would like a single from Perry, now and then.

What chemistry? I thought it was all Perry...
Aren't the musicians in Journey just another back up band?

Ha, yeah. And Paul Taylor and Lincoln Brewster are every bit as good as Jonathan and Neal.

Here's something I've always been curious about. Todd Jensen worked with Neal in Hardline and Paul Rodger's band before joining Perry's FTLOSM tour. Did Neal recommend Todd to Perry?

YES, I think he sounded like ass in Chicago.
YES, I would buy any new SP record on opening day.
These two things aren't mutually exclusive, Joe.

Even if out of curiosity only.

I am sure there would be a decent song or two on it, like FTLOSM.

The next one would be called FLOPSM.

I'd buy one as well....
I would think if he stuck with lower key vocals...and he sounds great at them if you remember "Captured by the Moment"...that he would sound great.
I DO believe Perry's days of hitting notes, such as at the end of "Mother, Father" have LOOOOOOONG since past. That's pretty obvious.

Agreed, Noble.
