Just as a reminder.

Hoping that Journey wins out over THE FUGEES  for "Best Old School Comeback"

Uh, how can The Fugees be considered "old-school"?

INXS I can understand; they started out in the '80s.

Here's what I don't get.
INXS and other acts are scheduled to appear, whereas Perry and Journey are not. What's up with that?

To be honest, I see INXS winning this for sure. They have the ROCK STAR momentum, a new CD and tour. Journey has a DSB revival (in the minds of the industry.

Sherri I didn't mean Perry with Journey. I am saying that I am dissapointed that neither Perry or Journey are showing up. At least one of them could be there.

Well, the way I see it, the band may not be interested because it's promoting the old music that they're trying to get away from. Also, the song the people are interested in had Steve Perry singing, and the page on VH1 featured Steve. If they appeared with Augeri, without a chance to perform some of the new music, it may backfire. Maybe it's a risk they're not willing to take.

From Steve's perspective, it would just be him, not Journey. He's not in singing form, he would have to have a band, what could he do?

Then again, maybe it was a VH1 decision, who knows?

They blurbed about the "old School" award thing; they said "Journey"....

and WHO did they show??

Just Steve P...in the yellow-.leopard "Escape" shirt thing.
